With things finally starting to wind down with your seniors, it’s hard to believe it’s already time to start offering sage college advice to your junior class. I’ve got two blogs that might help them as they start to navigate the colleges search process. One is advice for how to start the process, one is about tips for making the most of the college visit. We also know that not everyone has the finances to visit campuses (or perhaps some are leery about travel these days), so worry not: our counselors are hosting College 101 nights across the USA. These are not Tulane-specific events, but rather a night to learn all about our best tips and suggestions as they start to navigate the college search process. You can learn more here. Upcoming events will take place in the following cities:
- Birmingham, AL
- Long Beach, CA
- Santa Monica, CA
- Aurora, CO
- Washington, D.C.
- Atlanta, GA
- Gulfport, MS
- Jackson, MS
- Trenton, NJ
- Raleigh, NC
- Charlotte, NC
- Ardmore, PA
- Memphis, TN
- Nashville, TN
- Dallas, TX
- Houston, TX
Our aim is to have these events be easily accessed for students—all take place at libraries and schools and most are accessible by public transportation.
Good luck as you start working with your juniors!
Sincerely,
Jeff Schiffman Director of Admission
