Linwood Sexton Endowed Scholarship: Full-Ride Deadline is December 1, 2019 A full-ride award geared toward minority students majoring in business or education who demonstrate financial need. Learn more about the Linwood Sexton Endowed Scholarship here.
Rudd Scholarship: Full-Ride Deadline is December 1, 2019 The Rudd Scholarship is a competitive, 4-year award designed to pay any remaining costs associated with tuition and fees, books and supplies, and room and board after accounting for all other grants, scholarships and financial awards. The full-ride scholarships will go to 25 Kansas seniors who have the option to attend Wichita State, Emporia State or Fort Hays State. Professor Fran Jabara Endowed Scholarship: Up to $30,000 Deadline is December 20, 2019 Awards two $30,000 to future entrepreneurs. Learn more about the Jabara Scholarship here.

SHOCK DOC: UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH WITH DR. BECK Our latest Shock Doc featuring Dr. James Beck and Barnabas Hawkinson, a senior studying biology and secondary education provides a glimpse into what undergraduate research can look like at Wichita State. Together, they’re working to catalogue all the plant species on a 5-acre island in Sedgwick County, which is providing Barnabas with skills he can take into his career, and Dr. Beck with tools to use in his science classes. |

KANSAS CITY STUDENTS INVITED TO EXPERIENCE SHOCKER ENGINEERING Students and families are invited to join Wichita State to explore the opportunities in engineering. WSU is partnering with Burns & McDonnell to provide you with a chance to learn more about engineering in the Kansas City area. During this event attendees will meet current engineering students, faculty and staff, and learn about the different fields of engineering available at WSU.
