 Message from Wichita State University:

·        Wichita State University is TEST OPTIONAL for admissions. Our application opened on July 1st, and students can self-report all academic progress (no transcript needed until graduation!).

o   Admissions Requirements: 2.25 Unweighted GPA, OR 21 ACT Composite, OR 1080 SAT Composite. Only one of those criteria needs to be met for admission!

·        Virtual Resources

o   Virtual Campus Visit:  Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we began hosting Virtual Campus Visits. They are currently every Tuesday and Thursday at 1:30 PM. Students can register to attend at wichita.edu/visit.

o   Virtual Meetings/Visits and Pre-Recorded Webinars that can be shared with your students – These recordings were used this spring and news ones will be made for 20-21!

o   Wichita State Digital Publications – This includes our scholarship brochure, college fair flyer, viewbook, and many other resources.

·        In-Person Campus Visits offered Monday – Friday.  Students can register at wichita.edu/visit

·        Popular majors: Engineering, Business, Education, Fine Arts, Media Arts (Game Design, Animation, Filmmaking, and Audio Production), Sport Management, Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Criminal Justice, and Social Work.

·        Applied Learning program: 100% of students have the opportunity for internships and co-ops. Last year, Our students earned over $18 million in on-campus jobs and off-campus internships/co-ops with 500 unique employers. See our Career Development Center for more information!
