Get to know more about the advantages of studying in Canada

Affordable education

The quality of education and living standards in Canada are amongst the highest in the world, but the cost of living and tuition fees for international students are generally lower than in other countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom. As such, Canada is often the preferred choice for students attending college or university.

World-class language education

Did you know that Canada is a bilingual country and is considered a world leader in language training? Since teaching French and English as a first and second language is an integral part of a Canadian education, you will be able to improve your fluency and capacity for either language as you further your studies.

Multicultural society

With almost all of the world’s ethnic groups represented in Canada, it’s easy to find ethnic foods and recreation activities associated with specific cultures. In fact, your international student advisor can help you get in touch with any number of ethnic clubs and associations for you to join while you’re in Canada.

Discover why thousands of international students choose to study in Canada. From safe and welcoming campuses to quality of life, the reasons are many. Canada is a land of endless possibilities!

In 1885, the University of Arizona was established as the state’s first university. Now 135 years later, we’re proud to be the best in Arizona.

In the 2021 edition of its Best Colleges rankings, the U.S. News & World Report has named the University of Arizona as the top university in Arizona. Arizona was also named the No. 40 public university in the nation and No. 97 among all institutions.

From academics and research to an incredible campus and student life, Arizona offers your students one of the best college experiences available anywhere.

At Arizona, students have access to a number of support resources including the Think Tank, the A Center for undecided majors, the SALT Center, and career guidance through Student Engagement and Career Development. In addition, the Student Success District has transformed the core of main campus with brand-new tech, wellness, and advising spaces.

We have also made adjustments to account for COVID-19 disruptions. Students applying to the University of Arizona for the 2021-22 academic year are not required to submit SAT and/or ACT scores for admission or merit aid consideration. Merit scholarships for the 2021-22 academic year will be awarded based on students’ Core GPA as defined by the Arizona Board of Regents.
