Our Early Action decisions will be released on Thursday, December 19, at 3:30 PM CST.  We know you're hoping for favorable decisions for all of your Tulane applicants, but for students who are deferred, my "I've Been Deferred. The TU Special Programs application deadline to apply is January 15, 2020.  Students can apply for one or more of the following programs with just one application. Students must also complete the TU application or the Common Application by January 15 in order to be considered. * Requirements for each program vary. Students should read through each one carefully before starting the application.

Students who are denied admission or waitlisted are qualified to participate in the Summer Gateway Program. Successful completion of this program grants students full admission to Texas Tech for the fall semester. Learn more here.

Early Action Highlights
December 1 is our published Early Action date. Because December 1 is a Sunday, applications submitted by December 2 will be considered for Early Action.
Applying online is easy.
December 1 is non-binding.
Early Action is a non-binding application date. This year, all applications submitted by December 2 and complete by December 9 will be considered "on time."

Slate.org: check status, upload materials
If you're already in Slate.org - a free portal for counselors - you know you can see your students' app status. Did you know you also can upload documents directly to students' applications?
SLATE.ORG
Housing is guaranteed for freshmen.
Uploading materials? Know which app.
When you're uploading documents using your school's tool, make sure you know whether the student has applied using the Common App or our CSU App. We won't get materials routed to Common App if the student used our application.

Early Action & Regular Decision
All students who apply by December 1 are considered Early Action. After that date, all students are considered Regular Decision. The admission and scholarship criteria are the same, but the admission decision comes after the New Year.

Choose CSU: Saturday, December 7
December 7 is our first of three full-day admitted student events this year.
Choose CSU is for admitted freshman and transfer students.
Choose CSU is a full-day "choose your own adventure" event for admitted students, whether they already have deposited or are considering their options.
Saturday, December 7, is perfect for students who have been admitted early and want to get a head start on their next steps. Registration also is open for our Choose CSU events in February and March.
