University of Tulsa

Below is a list of links students can utilize to learn everything they need to know about The University of Tulsa.

DISCOVER TU: LET'S GET VIRTUAL! - Historically, Discover TU is an on-campus event for admitted students and their families. It was scheduled for Friday, April 10, but was canceled due to the COVID-19 crisis. As this event has been known to help students decide if TU was their right fit, our office has put together a virtual version. Also slated for April 10, students and parents will have the opportunity to sit in on sessions with the Student Success Center staff about how to "excel at college", learn more about housing options and Greek Life and hear from Head TU Football Coach Philip Montgomery and our University Ambassadors. Details and registration information can be found here.

CONNECT WITH A PROFESSOR - Our professors want to talk with students about opportunities within their academic program. Research, curriculum, student organizations, graduation rates and where students are finding jobs can be topics of discussion.

CONNECT WITH UNIVERSITY AMBASSADORS - We know high school seniors want to know more about what it's really like to be a TU student. Now they can ask a University Ambassador online. Our tour guides are disappointed they can't give tours in person, but they are available to call or email prospective students about anything and everything TU!

SIGN UP FOR A VIRTUAL ADMISSION PRESENTATION - If prospective students didn't get a chance to visit TU, they can register for a virtual admission presentation and see what they would have seen if they were visiting campus in person. They can also ask questions during the online program. We want to answer all their questions!

WATCH A VIRTUAL TOUR OF CAMPUS - Since we can't show prospective students around in person, they can watch this video for an inside peek at some of our most talked about buildings on campus. Myles, a University Ambassador, and Brooke, TU's College Readiness Coordinator, will show them around!

NOT VIRTUAL, BUT IMPORTANT - As May 1 is approaching, we want students to know we understand if they aren't ready to commit by this date. We have not formally extended the deadline, but we are telling students that we will welcome them whenever they are ready to make TU their school of choice. However, we want them to also know that once a decision is made, they can then move forward with enrolling in classes, selecting a residence hall and having peace of mind that their college journey has truly begun. In short, we want what is best for them regardless of the timeframe.
